Embedded Hardware Testing Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and execute hardware test plans for embedded systems, including component
    level testing, system level testing, and validation testing.
  • Perform functional, performance, and reliability testing on hardware designs, including
    analog and digital circuits, power supplies, and communication interfaces.
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts and test fixtures for hardware testing.
  •  Identify and diagnose hardware issues and work with the hardware design team to
    troubleshoot and resolve them.
  • Analyze test data and provide detailed reports to the hardware design team, identifying
    issues and proposing solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware designers, software
    engineers, and quality assurance engineers, to ensure timely and effective resolution of
    hardware issues.
  • Participate in design reviews and provide feedback on testability and manufacturability
    of hardware designs.
  • Develop and maintain test procedures and documentation in accordance with industry
    standards and best practices.
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest advances in hardware testing technology and
    methodology, and apply them to product development.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
  • 1+ years of experience in hardware testing and validation, preferably in embedded
    systems.
  • Strong understanding of analog and digital circuit design principles, and experience with
    hardware testing tools such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and multi-meters.
  • Experience with automated testing frameworks and scripting languages such as Python,
    C++, or LabVIEW.
  • Strong communication ( Communication in Hindi is added advantage) and teamwork
    skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects
    simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of firmware and software testing methodologies is a plus.
